Ernest Newman: "The Piano-Player and It's Music"
By Adam G. Ramet

I've scanned onto my web site Ernest Newman's 1920 book all about
the player piano, it's music, it's capabilities and limitations.
Ernest Newman was an English music writer and a champion of the player
piano as you will discover. Chapter One is available in it's entirety.

To access go to my web site and click on the "Newman Book" link.
This installment is "A Defence of the Piano-Player" (he uses the terms
"piano-player" to encompass all forms of players both cabinet and
internal). Further installments will follow over the next few weeks.

Sincerely,
Adam G. Ramet
