FS: Player Piano Rolls
By Dorothy Hickox

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hello, I am from New Hampshire and have several hundred piano rolls
that I am looking to find home(s) for. My mother passed away and
willed her player piano and all 1,500 piano rolls to me. Unfortunately
the player piano part of the piano is no longer functioning. It is a
Kimball and it would be too costly to have it fixed.

Some of the piano rolls date back to 1921 when my grandmother owned
them. I thought that since you either are tuning and repairing or
restoring pianos that you might know of some player piano owners that
would like to buy some of the piano rolls.

The makes of the rolls are QRS (some oversized), Klavier, along with,
Playrite, Capitol, Imperial, International World Roll, Pianostyle,
Rythmodik, Supertone, Vocalstyle, US Music Roll, Standard, Aeolian Co.,
Connorized, Shapiro, Marvel Music Roll, M Wilmark and Son, Themodist,
Charles K. Harris Music Co., Starch, U.S. Music Co., Melrose Music Corp.,
Atlas, Perfection, Broadcast Music, Uni-Record, and U.S. word roll.
There are mostly QRS and Klavier piano rolls.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Sincerely,
Dotty Hickox
