Mechanical Music Videos on YouTube
By Adam G. Ramet

Dear MMDers, I've had a bit of fun with my digital camera recently
and done a few video clips of what we in the Player Piano Group
(www.pianolasociety.com & www.playerpianogroup.org.uk) in the UK get
up to from time to time. Some of us are serious and some of us more
irreverent but we all share a common love for the player piano and
related instruments. You can see these at :

I've also put together a YouTube Group at with plenty other clips
by other people:

Please feel free to add your own relevant video clips, subscribe, post
comments, etc. Keep the clips short as they're more watchable that way.
Just filming a big boxy dark brown wooden player piano with the roll
going around for 3 minutes and nothing else makes incredibly boring
viewing for YouTube-ers so please don't do that. Have fun, experiment,
enthuse people in the 18-40 bracket for a change! Use your webcam,
cellphone, digi-cam, video-camera or 35mm Arriflex Panavision motion
picture camera in 3D for all I care. The choice is yours. Get stuck
in and participate! Enjoy!

Oh, and why not join us and become a PPG member at the same time!

With kind regards,
Adam Ramet
