I am from New Hampshire and have several hundred piano rolls which I am
looking to find homes for. My mother passed away and willed her player
piano and all 1,500 piano rolls to me. Unfortunately the player part
of the piano is no longer functioning. It is a Kimball, and it would
be too costly to have it fixed. Some of the piano rolls date back to
1921 when my grandmother owned them.
The brands of the rolls are QRS (some oversized), Klavier, Play-Rite,
Capitol, Imperial, International Word Roll, Pianostyle, Rythmodik,
Supertone, Vocalstyle, US Music Roll, Standard, Aeolian Co., Connorized,
Shapiro, Marvel Music Roll, M. Witmark and Son, Themodist, Charles K.
Harris Music Co., Starck, U.S. Music Co., Melrose Music Corp., Atlas,
Perfection, Broadcast Music, Uni-Record, and US Word Roll. There are
mostly QRS and Klavier piano rolls.
