Hi all, yes, "Hälsa Dem Därhemma" is a very beautiful Scandinavian tune.
As I said back in 2003, I would be happy to recut this tune or any of
the other Scandinavian tunes I have in my collection or in anyone else's
collection. There are other tunes, in other collections, that I would
love to have a copy of in my collection.
The problem in recutting rolls is, in order to barely break even,
I have to have a production run of a minimum of fifteen copies. I keep
one copy for myself, and sell the other fourteen copies. I print the
leaders of the rolls, make lyric sheets, box labels, etc., and I can
only conclude in making recut rolls available, it must be for the love
of sharing these fine old rolls, as there is no profit in it!
Surely, out there in the wide world, there must be at least fourteen
other Scandinavians, of Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, or
Swedish descent, who have a player piano and would love to have a copy
of these fine old folk songs, hambos, dances, etc.? In fact, you don't
even have to be Scandinavian to enjoy the music!
So, if there are at least fourteen willing people out there who would
like to order a copy, I will do this roll or any of the others. The
cost would be $12.00 per roll plus shipping. Thanks.
Musically, Larry Norman
