Seek Pedal Duo-Art Player Mechanism in NL or UK
By Niels Berkers

Hi All, On October the 27th of last year [061027 MMDigest] I asked
if somebody had a Duo-Art player mechanism without a piano, as I was
contacted by a man who has a gutted Steck Duo-Art. I want to help this
person to get his player piano complete again.

The piano was restored just before he got it some 10(?) years ago.
They did a beautiful job, except that they (or somebody else) threw the
player mechanism away. It originally was a PEDA Duo-Art, so pedal and
electric operation. We very much would like to get such works again,
but I know that a PEDA action is not something one has generally laying
around.

On advice I think a pedal-only Duo-Art mechanism is great to start
with, as it already features a Duo-Art tracker bar and can relatively
easily be expanded to full Duo-Art if the owner decides to do so in the
future.

So here is my expanded search question. Does anybody (preferably in
the UK or near the Netherlands) have a full Duo-Art action or a half
Duo-Art action? Preferably in unrestored and complete condition of
course, but other offers considered.

Actions in the United States are probably too expensive as postage
will be very high, and I don't know if such actions will fit. Any help
appreciated.

Thanks in advance, regards from the cold Netherlands,
Niels Berkers
