Student's Guide to Pipe Organs Book
By Jack M. Conway

Hi Group, Susan Robinson is seeking the ATOS published "a students
guide to pipe organs." I have a copy of ATOS "The Theatre Pipe Organ
An Educator's Guide To Life and Entertainment in the Roaring Twenties."
It is 50 pages with illustrations prepared by Jeff Weiler. The Preface
states in part:

"This guide book is intended for the use by both Chapters of The
American Theatre Organ Society and educators in planning special
presentations for students. The guide is divided into two sections;
one for chapter use and the other for use by teachers and curriculum
planners."

"Students in grades 5-8 have been specifically targeted, however the
material contained in this guide is easily adaptable to all educational
levels."

"Sample lesson plans, musical suggestions, handouts, and review
questions are provided along with a listing of supplemental resource
material."

If this is what you are seeking I am willing to photocopy for you.

I would also highly recommend the VHS video "Pulling Out all the Stops,
The Pipe Organ In America." It is 83 minutes in stereo and was put
together with the help of AGO, AIO, ATOS, APOBA, and OHS. The liner
notes say in part:

"Pulling Out all the Stops" celebrates the pipe organ in America.
It features every kind of organ -- the old, and the new -- the sacred,
the secular -- mechanical action, electric action. The story of a
congregations nine-year dream and the factory that made that dream come
true, and a special tour for young people inside a three-story tall
organ."

It features the playing of gifted students and professionals.
