Scale of "Melodicon" Self-Playing Glockenspiel
By Jean Nimal

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hi. Did any of you hear about the Melodicon? This is a small electric
mechanical musical instrument with chimes (11 hammers on brass bars),
very simple, with a very delightful sound, built in Germany in around
the nineteen-seventies. It plays two Christmas melodies. I can send
two pictures if interested : nimal.jean@wanadoo.fr

I just found one but, unfortunately, this one is badly out of tune!
Does anyone know the scale of this instrument? I wish you (each and
all of you) a Merry Christmas.
