Religious Music Played on Carousel Organ
By Jon Guy

During my recent visit with Lowell Stapf he showed me his 153
Wurlitzer and he asked if I had ever heard religious music on
the band organ. He never did play the roll; however, he showed
me a roll of hymns.

According to Lowell the carnivals had a church on the grounds.
The meeting place was the carousel where the organ was and
a place for everyone to sit.
