Band Organ Music at Texas State Fair
By Bill Finch

In recent years, the midway at Texas State Fair was operated by a carny
outfit owned by Dwayne Steck in Dallas. Dwayne is a member of the MBSI
and can be found in their directory. He has a personal collection of
band organs and the like. He has in the past supplied and operated the
real band organs used for this annual event.

If you really want to know why the Texas State Fair is playing
electronic music, look up Dwayne's phone number and give him a call.
He's a nice guy and will talk to you. Be aware that you might end up
buying one of his organs. He always has one or two for sale. Do you
need an amusement ride? He sells those too.
