Hello! Without a picture it is not easy to identify the piano maker.
Please send me a picture showing the mechanical parts and another one
with the piano open.
In France we have had a piano-maker named Lacape. He has built
upright pianos in various cases, with a very interesting mechanical
barrel system. The barrels were originally covered with a yellow paper
and the pins are made with brass. To activate the mechanical system
(like for a sewing machine) you have a third foot-pedal, but no spring
motor.
