Amazing -- this same guy from "Timless Journeys" also has contacted
me. He had won a restored player piano that I had on eBay. He called
right away to see what else I had. I told him I had several other
players available and asked exactly what was it he wanted.
He stated that he was planning "a luxury resort for celebrities"
(whatever that means) in Pennsylvania, and he wanted every room to
have a player piano, and several coin pianos scattered about as well.
I asked him how many player pianos he wanted, and he replied "about
15". I said to him I hope he had about 5 years to wait.
He then wanted to send a truck to my location the _next_ day to have
the piano picked up, and that he would have to "have a partner wire
me the funds". He asked if I would mind letting the piano go without
paying for it when it was picked up, and that he "had many pianos
to purchase and that he knew I'd understand about truck scheduling".
I said I was sorry, but "the piano cannot leave without payment."
I never heard another word from this guy from "Timless Journeys",
and after many un-returned phone calls, he never claimed his piano.
