Carousel Organ at Six Flags Park, Agawam, MA
By Jeff Bridges
Hi everyone! Well, I did it -- I got permission from Six Flags
New England to take pictures of the carousel band organ. It has
been stored in the maintenance shop for two years, not working. They
might even let me work on it to repair it. I have posted the pictures
on a web site that my club owns. I am the webmaster so I can post it
there, the link is http://www.enforcersne.org/bandorgan.html
First off I would like to apologize for the quality of the pictures;
my camera stinks! And if you are on dial-up modem it will take some
time for the pictures to download since I didn't compress the images
so you can see them fully and close up.
Now, the question is this: What kind is this and who would have
made it? The front facade is not the original because it rotted away.
And if anyone has a blower for this type of band organ I would be
interested in purchasing it from you. Also, if you are a supplier of
parts I would be interested in talking to you on a very large purchase
in the near future. I can be reached at <jeff.bridges@verizon.net>
Sincerely, Jeff Bridges
