FS: New Piano Roll "El Choclo"
By Joyce Brite

I have just released a new piano roll, "El Choclo" -- a dramatic tango
by A. G. Villoldo. This arrangement was used in the dance scene in the
Mel Brooks film "Dracula: Dead and Loving It", with music by Hummie
Mann. The roll was played and created by none other than Robbie Rhodes
who is listed in the film credits.

The song is a tango, which makes the roll very different from most
piano rolls available today. The roll can also be played on an 88-note
player organ such as a Kimball Electramatic by slowing the tempo
slightly.

Since I am writing, I would like to invite you to visit the Player
Piano and Mechanical Music Exchange if you have not done so recently.
Advertisements are once again free, and the page is updated as time
permits. Other items available through this web site include piano
rolls, music-related books, sheet music and John Kleinbauer's book
of instructions, "How to Build a Simple Mechanical Organ." The sheet
music page has proven to be very popular as a source for both classical
and popular music. I've just acquired a new lot of sheet music which
I will be posting soon.

More details about the "El Choclo" roll and other available rolls can
be found at http://mmd.foxtail.com/Exchange/rollpage.htm
