I have long since given up AOL as worthless. I know others will
disagree with that opinion. I live in the California high desert on
the edge of a small town. Fortunately there is a Verizon switching
station about three miles from me and I am very satisfied with Verizon
DSL, with one exception: they refuse to deliver email from Fred Reed
(Fred On Everything), who by the way, in my opinion is well worth
reading.
My solution was to open a free Yahoo email account. Yahoo doesn't
appear to be too particular who they deliver from. That is a possible
solution. To do this with AOL, you have to log on to AOL to get a
hookup, then open up your Yahoo email account.
Best to all of you,
Jim Cook
