Nisco Museum of Mechanical Music in Israel
By Vincent Morgan
On television I just noticed the most recent rocket landing area in
the Haifa area and saw what looked like the Nisco Museum of Mechanical
Music building between the camera and the rocket landing area. I called
Nisan Cohen at the museum; he was conducting a tour and hadn't bothered
going outside to see where the rocket landed.
Nisan said that he heard several rockets land, but he has been too busy
making his music boxes sing to go check. His response, "Life goes on.
All the music boxes are singing. I am more afraid to cross the street
in Tel Aviv than I am of the rockets."
While we talked I heard his Mason and Hamlin Red Welte playing in the
background.
