Hi all, Ms. Leginska was certainly a phenomenon during her day.
I have heard say that she was a pyromaniac at the keyboard. The only
Ampico roll I have of her playing (The Blue Danube Concert Arabesque)
well demonstrates her technical prowess. Anyway, the following is
a list of her rolls on Duo-Art (from the 1925 Duo-Art Catalog) and from
the Obenchain Ampico catalog. There may have been later recordings
made for Duo-Art not in the 1925 catalog. But, up until that year,
she was well-represented by that company.
