Bill Sharkey asked how to move a player piano from neighbouring states
for $700 or under. I'm not quite sure on how "tongue-in-cheek" I can
keep it, but here goes:
I suspect that the rumors are true and New Yorkers simply don't drive
cars! Provided you already own a pickup truck or a tradesman van,
there is really not too much costs involved:
- Gas to and from the location
- Your time to go there and come back
- Whatever other running costs there are (car-loan payments, insurance)
- two strong local guys to get it out of the place into your car:
$20 per hour each, that's just 40 bux...
