Leather Pouches for Universal Player Piano
By D. L. Bullock

For Universal players, I use regular pouch leather. Remove the white
plastic rings from around the pouch hole cleanly. Clean out glue if
any. Glue the pouch down to the ledge under the plastic ring. Press
the ring back in on top of the leather to hold the leather down while
glue dries. Seal leather.

I use rubber cement followed by baby powder when dry. If you use the
new Red pouch leather, sealing may not be needed. This is a very fast
job, you will find, especially if you have a pouch setter of the right
size.
