Gavioli "Guitharmonie" Barrel Reed Organ
By Hans van Oost

Gavioli made these reed organs from about 1860 till 1900, maybe
even until the closure of the factory in 1912. These reed organs
were made with or without expression and with between 26 to 35 keys.
I have sent pictures of such an instrument to Bill, but I cannot
send them to MMD due to copyrights; sorry.

I am sure that Ginocchio & Bro. of New York were either repairers
or resellers of Gavioli products, and not builders.

Regards,
Hans van Oost, Netherlands
