Auction Fatigue
By Kevin McElhone

I wonder if other MMD readers look forward to this time of year or
am I the only one to get annoyed at the number of auctions in the
next three weeks?

There is Bonhams (UK), Christies (UK), Musical Box Society GB (UK),
Chartres (France), Auction Team Köln (Germany), Skinners (USA).

_All_ of these auctions take place in the next three weeks. I find
this is rather ridiculous -- I wonder why they all take place _every_
year at the same time? If they were separated by a few weeks I would
not be spent out after the first one or two.

What do other people think, or do most people only buy from the nearest
location ?
