Recutting 31-note Mechanical Orguinette Rolls
By Kevin McElhone

I have had a request to re-cut Mechanical Orguinette 31-note rolls
from someone who has only twelve rolls. Does anyone else have an
instrument that plays these rolls from the 1880s and would be
interested in re-cuts?

This is a 'tweener' organette -- foot pedalled, but it still has
a handle which has to be turned to move the roll through the spool
box -- made before pneumatic roll motors were invented.

Thanks, Kevin McElhone, Northampton, UK
