Imhof & Mukle Orchestrion at Birmingham Museum

Imhof & Mukle Orchestrion at Birmingham Museum

John Page was quite correct in saying I recorded the Imhof & Mukle
orchestrion in the Birmingham Museum in October 1983. Jim Chrichton
was present throughout the late night recording session to keep the
beast playing!

The museum had two batches of cassettes from me and presumably sold
them all, but I never heard any more from them after that. I still
have the original master recordings, so perhaps one day the instrument
can be seen and heard again.
