FS: New Recut Mills Violano Rolls
By Dick Hack

We are in the process now of making some more recuts of Mills Violano
rolls. There will be a limited number of these rolls made. As in the
past, they will be on cores with flanges so they will go right into any
Violano without the need of an additional spool. They will come in
boxes with labels and will include the tune cards. All rolls are
guaranteed. These are what we have available:

2114 - Christmas Roll: Adeste Fidelis, Oh Thou Joyful Day, Silent
Night (holy Night), O Tannenbaum, Christmas Song (O Holy Night). There
are violin solos in various parts of this roll. Arrangements are just
wonderful!

2379 - La Traviata in 5 parts: Verdi. One of my favorite classical
rolls.

2444 - Roll of Medleys: Songs of the Past (Hail Hail the Gang's All
Here, Good Old Summertime, Sidewalks of NY, etc.), Light Opera Medley
(My Hero, Kiss Me Again, Beautiful Lady), Songs of Yesterday (Auld Lang
Syne, Sweet Adeline, In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree, etc.), Medley
of Reels (Chicken Reel, Arkansas Traveler, etc.). One of my best
sellers over the years.

2457 - Ten Piece Dance Roll: Alabamy Bound, Swanee Butterfly, By the
Light of the Stars, Midnight Waltz, Moonlight and Roses, On the Way to
Monterey, Off and Gone, Away from You, Titina, and Oh Katharina. This
is a great roll for museums and tours; the ten tunes are about half as
long as on other rolls.

2540 - International Roll: Stars and Stripes Forever, O Solo Mio, Blue
Danube Waltz, Toreador Song (Carmen), Song of the Boatman of the Volga.
This is a fabulous variety roll.

2680 - Hand Played Red Hot Blues Roll: Wabash Blues, Some of These
Days, St. Louis Blues, I Ain't Got Nobody Much, Memphis Blues. This is
the famous blues roll Don Teach lent for recutting. It is one of the
best Blues rolls ever done for the Violano! I still will have a few
left after shipping the back orders. Those that already have this roll
ordered will be notified within a few days that the roll is now being
recut. If you do not hear from me, please send me an email.

2917 - Mexican Roll: General Almazan, Amalia, Echamela Pa'ca, Lupe
Velez, Cachetitos Rojos. All great tunes.

3021 - Dinner Hour Music: Black Eyes, Tango in D, Me Queres, Two
Guitars, La Rosita. Another roll that has been in consistent demand by
those that hear it.

Rolls are still $100 each; shipping is $12 for one roll plus $6 for
each additional roll shipped at the same time. Please email me for
details.
