Seek Plans for Rolmonica Spool Frame
By John Adams

A few years ago I found what appears to be Rolmonica rolls in an
antique shop in Portland, Oregon. There were about a dozen. None
have a tune name and none have the leader still attached, but they
are meant to play 12 notes.

Now, without a genuine Rolmonica, I would like to construct a spool
frame of some sort, read them somehow, and have them play a set of
pipes or reeds, both of which I have. Could anyone direct me to
plans for a simple player and also how to build a reed box?

I have played around with using light sensitive transistors for hole
detection so primarily I need help in building a simple spool box.
Any clues will be appreciated.
