Hello, I wonder if anyone can throw some light onto a music roll
that I have in my collection. It has a red leader with the name
'Original Pneuma' written on it. The roll is 13-3/8" [34 cm] wide
with brown polished ends with pointed spigots, one threaded.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

[ It's likely for one of the versions of the "Pneuma accordéon jazz"
[ automaton. See http://www.boite-accordeon.com/galerie3.html :
[
[ (translated): "A piece composed of two automatons: an accordionist
[ and a drummer. The outfit, driven by a roll of punched paper, was
[ manufactured by Gastaud and Raibaut in Nice for the J. Bodson House
[ of Paris, and was sold under the mark "Pneuma-accordéon Jazz" with
[ a system borrowed from the German pneumatic orchestrions."
[
[ At http://home.tele2.fr/mnallino/piano_fr.html is a well-researched
[ history saying that the automaton was actually built by Nallino
[ Frères (Joseph Nallino successors) of Nice. A shorter version in
[ English is at http://home.tele2.fr/mnallino/piano_en.html
