Seek Spring for Lever-Wind Musical Box
By Brian Walter

I am wondering if someone out there might be able to help me find the
appropriate spring size for a lever-wind, 8-inch, 8-tune Mermod cylinder
music box? The barrel size is 2-1/2-inch outside diameter and the
depth is 1-3/8 inch.

The spring that is there looks like it might have been shortened and
may have been replaced at some time. The dimensions of what is there
are .032 x 1-5/16 x 66 inches. The edges of the spring are smooth and
not sharp, but it seems too thick. Thanks for the help!
