Pinblock Treatment
By Don Teach

The best treatment by far is to replace a bad pinblock. I do
remember years ago when some technicians treated pinblocks with epoxy.
I would not use CA glue as it does break down over time. Model
airplane builders in my area have reported that CA glues do not last.

There is a Seeburg G with epoxy in the pinblock and it is a real
challenge to tune. The pins are tight and suffer from what is known
as jumping pins when it is tuned. The more you try to tune it the
easier it is to tune as the heat buildup from turning the pins seems
to help loosen the epoxy.
