Ampico "B" Stack Spill Valves
By Bob Taylor
In response to the question posted by Dan Bixler MMD 060320, both
of the spill units have three nipples venting to the atmosphere.
They connect to nothing. The bottom-most nipple (the fourth nipple)
on the valve unit is indeed teed to the number six intensity valve.
The original factory tubing on these two vent valves is a "silencer"
tube on each of the three vent nipples. The free end of the "silencer"
tube is cut at about a 45 degree angle to identify it and help in the
silencing. Ideally, the three vent tubes are routed to different
locations to spread out the venting sounds.
I don't think you have a problem.
