The Glue Wars
By Brian Thornton

Once again I see we are having the perennial discussion, "Anything
you can glue I can glue better!" I think all glues and sealers
have their merits when used properly with full knowledge of their
properties, so the argument over which is better is redundant.
In the hands of the amateur and the ignorant they are _all_ weapons
of mass destruction.

More then half of the player actions that come into my shop have had
some attempt at repair before. I have seen apparitions of horror in
hide glue and every kind of glue and sealer imaginable.

But I will say this: It's a lot easier to undo the damage caused by
shellac and hide glue than it is any of that new stuff.
