Satisfy the Customer with Minimal Repairs
By Donald Barton

Hello Folks, I agree wholeheartedly with John Tuttle about the
difference between rebuilding and repairing [060217 MMDigest].
I have been repairing and restoring player pianos for 33 years.
I have accumulated a client base of over 1000 customers.

I often can get a customer's player piano working relatively well
with an overall tightening, tempo regulator and airmotor rebuild.
I do let the customer know that the player system will eventually
need total restoration and most often they have it restored when
they can afford it or pass the piano down to another family member.
