Proper Hammers for Player Pianos
By Jason Fisher

Dear all, I'm regulating the action on a 1916 Weber grand Pianola by
the Aeolian Co. with a Schwander piano action. The serial number on
the action is 772182. I am certain that the hammers are not original,
the previous owner having changed them; they are now far too heavy and
cannot be regulated correctly.

Does anyone know what the correct hammers should be or can you offer
any advice on what replacements are suitable, and where I should get
them from?

Many thanks,
Jason Fisher
