Hi All, After a flurry of emails regarding my recent posting about
Phenoseal, I contacted Durrell Armstrong, the owner of Player Piano
Co., and asked him a couple of questions.
Although Durrell would not divulge his supplier, which is only
reasonable, he said that the Phenoseal he sells is specially formulated
and manufactured specifically for Player Piano Co. He also assured me
that the product is always fresh. Also, so there is no misunderstanding,
PVC-E glue and Phenoseal are two different products with different
formulas.
Furthermore, because of the properties of Phenoseal, it must not be
allowed to freeze while in its liquid state. (Once it's dry, freezing
it has no effect.) Therefore, shipping the product during the times of
year when freezing might occur is not recommended. Also, shipping the
product by air to overseas countries, where it might freeze in the
cargo hold of the aircraft, is not recommended. While it takes much
longer to ship via surface mail (on a boat), doing so will help insure
that the product does not get 'damaged' in transit.
Musically,

work vehicle overnight during the Winter)
