Add my name to the "Aeolian Admiration Society." The stamps and
signatures, etc., were all part of Aeolian's impressive quality control
system.
I am working on a 1923 "non Duo-Art" Weber, made in England. I noticed
several gummed paper stickers on several parts. The sticker read
"Tested...... Date......" and the inspector wrote his/her initials or
worker number on the space after "Tested." On the space after the word
"Date" was the exact day that part was tested and inspected.
