Repairing Aeolian Wind Motor
By Jack Scarsbrook

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Mike Morrey wanted to know how to adjust the sliders on a Aeolian
wind motor [060112 MMDigest]. When I want to work on my Steck
half-Duo-Art, out comes my copy of "Player Piano Servicing and
Rebuilding," by Arthur Reblitz. This book has proved to be more
than worth the cost.

His text on adjusting Aeolian wind motors is short and to the point.
This is what he says: "Regulating the slide valves is easy, simply
adjust each one so it uncovers each of its two ports by exactly the
same amount."

Hope this helps Mike.
