FS: Steinway "O" ex-Welte T-100
By Andy Struble

We have a 1919 Hamburg Steinway-Welte model "O" for sale. The Welte
mechanism is missing from the piano though we do have a few parts.
It has been repainted black in 1999, restrung and action rebuilt with
Steinway parts, also 1999, with new pin-block. It was bought in
Germany and brought to this country shortly after WW1.

We do have the very large remote vacuum pump, rebuilt but needs work.
Also the stack that someone tried rebuilding and a second stack that
does not fit. We have a few new parts someone tried to build for it,
but it never worked. All Welte parts are removed from the instrument.
We thought it might sell better as a player-less piano, but thought
we should mention it on this list to see if anyone might like or need
such an instrument. Piano sounds very good. Rich warm tone.

Wish we had all the original parts, but since we don't we feel we
should not take on the project and concentrate instead on other
instruments.
