Mechanical Music for Teenagers - Video Game Themes
By Ingmar Krause

Just a short while ago there was a concert here in Vancouver, B.C.,
of what appears to be a travelling show of orchestral performances of
video game theme music together with a nice light show, as I have been
told (that gives it another notch towards attracting teens I guess).

What seems to work to attract teens back to orchestral instruments
(the intent seems to be that they want teens to pick up the fiddle...)
should work just as well for the mechanical music world. Matter of
fact, I have already done some music from video games for the 20er
keyless scale (the famous Tetris-Song, for example).

I should dig out that link to that video, that shows another performance
of an A capella choir: they don't just sing or hum the tunes, they
re-enact the game on stage!

Well, gettin' off topic maybe a bit here...

Musically,
