"Noteur" Music Book & Roll Editing Program
By John Phillips

I am wondering if anyone else has had a look at Piet Paardekam's
"Noteur" for arranging mechanical music? See MMD 051212. It looks
very interesting. I have downloaded it and the instructions file and
also some of the "gamma" files. As I understand it, each gamma is a
template for a particular type of tracker bar.

What I'm interested is 88-note piano rolls with "snakebite" accenting,
e.g., 88-note Aeolian Themodist or Hupfeld rolls. But I can't seem to
find a gamma for this at Piet's web site. This is doubtless due to
dumbness on my part; I'd be grateful if anyone can put me straight.

John Phillips in Hobart, Tasmania.
