Just yesterday, an auction for an antique Edelweiss musical box ended
on eBay. The box was about twelve inches square and came with eight
discs. It had a walnut case and appeared to be in excellent shape.
The final price was about $550.00, but the reserve was not met.
I know nothing about antique music boxes, but I am captivated by this
one. Does anyone know the history of Edelweiss music boxes? Can you
recommend some good web sites to learn the history and current value
of these antiques?
Many thanks,
Annalisa Regenfuss
