That is probably Bob Essex. He sells an "information package" with
software. It includes a very detailed description of how he built the
MIDster Punch, but he doesn't claim they are exactly plans. Some of
the parts are going to be from surplus outlets and the like, and you
may be scavenging from printers, scanners, and so on. You will need
at least a minimal acquaintance with machine shop and electronic tools,
or some handy friends.
I bought the package and have started construction of one with the
intent of making rolls for the Smith organ I have under construction.
I'm impressed with his thoroughness and detail. I've started the
punch, but I am planning to finish the organ first.
