Hello all, I am restoring a Simplex stack from a Recordo grand,
and I noticed that thepianoworld.com [Piano World, St. Louis, MO]
offers after-market valve seats for the Recordo with bigger holes
to match the later Recordo models. The site claims the new seats
will help the unit play faster and give faster repetition. Does
anyone have any thoughts on this?
Being my first rebuild, everything is new to me, so any informatio
on rebuilding Recordo stacks would be invaluable.
Thanks,
David Schroth, Jr.
