Hello Everyone,  Please mark your calendars for Sunday, December 18th.
Be sure to tune in to "CBS Sunday Morning" with Charles Osgood, where
they will air a segment on mechanical music.  Although the segment
is set to air on the 18th, other news could postpone it until the 25th.
Over 5 million viewers will be exposed to our fascinating hobby!  In
addition, the MBSI web site will be linked to the CBS web site.

About two months ago we were contacted through our web site by one
of the producers of this program, wanting to do a piece on "music
boxes".  Once it was determined that this was a legitimate request,
I contacted her.  I explained to her that there was a much broader
field of mechanical music that might be interesting to her viewers
and immediately sent her our DVD, "Marvels of Mechanical Music".

She was not only impressed by the collections in the film, but also
by the craftsmanship of the film itself.  This is an immense
compliment, coming from someone who has been with CBS since 1962.

So, because of those individuals who are responsible for creating,
maintaining, and updating our web site, CBS found us.  Because of 
those who donated their time, energy, and money for our video, we had
a professional film that could be sent to CBS to excite and educate
them.  We are now about to get the exposure we have been hoping for!
