FS: Aeolian Duo-Art Player Pipe Organ in Seattle
By Carl Dodrill

Our Pipe Organ Foundation in the Seattle area has acquired a player
pipe organ and we would like to see this instrument completely
rebuilt and put into service. It is Aeolian Duo Art Pipe Organ no.
1619, a II/13 with chimes and 61-note harp and with a combination
116/176-note player. There is significant pipe damage to some of
the ranks but nearly all the organ is there. It requires a rebuild
from the ground up.

Costs for acquiring the organ will be very reasonable. Transport
from the Seattle area would be necessary, and the instrument weighs
about 5,000 pounds. Our major concern is that the organ not be put
in storage for a rebuild at some point in the indefinite future, but
that the recipient is able to proceed with the rebuild promptly.

If you are interested in this project, or if you know someone who may
be interested, please reply to me by e-mail.

Thank you,
Carl Dodrill - Pipe Organ Foundation
