I know that the "Thüringer Musikantenschmiede" uses their own
quite small valves in Tanzbärs and other MIDI-controlled instruments.
However, G. Watterott (the owner) seems quite hesitant to sell or
otherwise "give you a peek" about his technology (which is okay;
after all, it's his business!), but maybe taking a peek in an
instrument of that company might give interested people some clues.
