Hello MMD. David Steed enquires about "Feronite". (Note that it's
spelled with only one "r".) The company makes Feronite Rusty Metal
Primer and Feronite Rust Converter, which is intended for application
in temperatures above 70 degrees Celcius. The primer is the one to go
for. I've just looked on my bottle and at the pamphlet that came with
it but nowhere is there a web site or an email address.
However, they do give a mail address and a telephone number:
U.T.I. Chemicals Australia Pty. Ltd.,
Unit 2, 10 - 12 Babdoyle Street,
Loganholme,
Queensland, 4129.
Australia.
tel.: 07 3806 1944
If you are calling from outside Australia, omit the leading zero and
start with your code for accessing international subscriber dialing.
Then enter the code for Australia, which is 61 and then enter 7 and the
rest of the Feronite number.
However, I don't think David will need to do all that, because it looks
to me as if his email address is an Australian one. If I'm right,
enquire at your local paint store, David. There's one here in Hobart
that sells the stuff. Even if they don't sell it, they should be able
to point you in the right direction. It really is good.
I've sent a separate copy of this email directly to David. At first
I put his address into the Cc line at the top of my message to MMD,
but without the ".geentroep". Then I got worried that a scamming
program might read his address successfully, so I pulled it out again.
Did I need to worry?
