Hi dear MMD friends. In the old catalog from Poirot Frères in
Mirecourt (1879), we found only one model of a 22-key barrel organ,
in the first part named "Former models, little barrel organs with
crank and tin pipes."
No. 19:
22 keys, mahogany or palissander [rosewood], 2 stops forte/bass
3 big barrels (8 tunes each = 24 tunes)
height 95 cm, width 72 cm, depth 40 cm [27.4 x 28.3 x 15.7 inches]
Price 175 gold francs
In the new part, from 1879 on, we found no more little barrel organs
for the streets with 22 keys. We have models with 20 or 29 keys,
and 26 keys Uniflute and tremolo, always with palissander case;
with a case with inlay an extra charge of 40 gold francs.
Best regards from France,
Françoise Dussour
