I have just found one of the series of five rolls issued by Ampico
titled "Theory of Music".  The one I have is "Ear Training".  I have
scanned it and will be recutting it on paper as well as making MIDI
files with lyrics for all to enjoy.  Tim Baxter has offered to do
the recutting on paper with text.

I would very much like to do the whole set.  If anyone has any or all
of the four other rolls and would be willing to loan them for scanning,
please contact me.  I have scanned something like 3000 rolls to date,
many of which have been mailed and none has been lost so far, so there
is little risk of loss.  The only rolls that have ever been damaged
were ones that were literally falling apart and could not be played
on a piano.

If there are other series of instructional rolls I would be interested
in knowing about them also.
