I am trying to fine out more information on my Regina Chime Clock.
I see a post by Annemarie Shuman where she said her clock had a serial
number [030321 MMDigest]. I was wondering where to find the serial
number.
My clock is 7-1/2 feet tall and 22 inches wide and 15 inches deep.
Its cabinet is made a quarter-sawn oak. There are three sections,
with the top section housing the clock. The brass pendulum and weights
are in the middle section which is made of diamond shaped pieces of
leaded glass on the door and sides. The lower section houses the
chimes.
The disk says "Regina Chime Clock" and "US Patents Dec 17 1889, Jun 27
1893". There are six songs listed on the disk. I need to get it
appraised for insurance purposes, but the clock appraiser in my area
said this was a "museum" piece and I needed to look on the Internet.
I have been searching, but am unable to come up with anything that
looks remotely similar.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.
