FS: Player Piano in Brighton, England
By Jeffrey Borinsky

I have been informed of a player piano for sale in Brighton, England.
I have not seen the instrument but I believe the description to be
reliable. I have no connection with the vendor.

Square-set American style case in medium brown hardwood. Retailer's
name over keyboard, "Regal"; logo on plate inside spool box "The First
Touch Tells"; Maker's name on cast frame "Christman Sons New York";
overstrung and under-damper action; 88 note tracker bar equipped with
four extra slots at left and right as if for 'Duo-Art' but mysteriously,
these holes appear not (or no longer) to be tubed to anything.

Controls "Loud Off/On" in spool box; 3 loud/soft levers plus usual
tempo and re-roll below keyboard. It just about plays, but roll
tracking stuck or erratic. Fairly presentable but hasn't been tuned
for ages, and could do with a good sweep out inside. Said to have been
'overhauled' 15-20 years ago.

Also about 150 rolls, mixed light and classical (including some Duo-Art
rolls) and a piano-stool cum roll-cupboard. Vendor unsure how much to
ask for the lot. Please contact the vendor directly at
