While on the Bumbling Bruder Organ Tour a couple of weeks ago I had the
pleasure of talking with our editor, Robbie Rhodes. He mentioned that
he was looking for a recording of the song "Sunflower."
The attached MP3 sound file is the song "Sunflower" played on, I believe,
"The Golden One" street organ. The recording comes from an old Epic LP,
LN 3529, which I got back in the 1960s. The album cover attributes the
music as being played by "The Fabulous Arab, The World's Most Famous
Barrel Organ". While some of the music on the LP is played by the Arab,
clearly, about half is not.
Happy listening to all.

[ Thanks, Bob; I'll place the MP3 file at the MMD Sounds site,

[ "Sunflower", played on a Ruth style 39 fair organ,

[ as unknown tune #21. The experts in Holland whom I spoke
[ with said the song exists for several different scales.
[ But was it ever recorded by an orchestra? -- Robbie
